Frequently asked questions.
What is CBD?
CBD, scientifically known as cannabidiol, is a natural compound found in the hemp plant. CBD is the best researched cannabinoid, with its list of restorative wellness benefits constantly evolving. CBD is a safe, non-addictive, non-psychoactive product. CBD and other plant compounds interact with the receptors in our Endocannabinoid System (ECS), known to be the largest system of receptors in mammals. Essentially, cannabinoids are crucial to how we (and our pets) experience everyday life.
How can CBD Help me?
CBD is a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Our customers take CBD for many things; like pain, sleep problems, anxiety reduction, to promote mental wellbeing and much more. CBD Works within the ECS helping to naturally regulate the other parts of our bodies including the nervous system, digestive system, organs, skin, bones and more.
What is full spectrum and broad spectrum?
Broad Spectrum contains the entire spectrum of cannabinoids minus the THC.
Full Spectrum contains the entire spectrum of cannabinoids including up to 0.3% THC.
What is CBG?
The mother of all cannabinoids— cannabigerol (CBG) is the precursor for THC and CBD in hemp plants. Without the production of CBGA (the acidic form of CBG), there would be no cannabinoids. This minor cannabinoid is studied for its stimulating and mood-lifting properties. Just as CBG is the first cannabinoid in the hemp plant, it is best to utilize this cannabinoid first thing in the morning.
What is CBN?
Cannabinol (CBN), the first cannabinoid to be isolated by scientists, also begins as CBG. Through exposure to heat, air, and light, the CBG then degrades to THC, and eventually becomes CBN. This naturally occurring “sleepy” cannabinoid takes much longer to produce than its mother cannabinoid, but its well worth the wait. exciting research continues to emerge on CBN’s relaxing, sedative effects on the ECS. Therefore, it is best to take this minor cannabinoid about an hour before your desired sleep time.
